Platform

Transformation, delivered on agentic commerce infrastructure.

Retail Reinvented’s transformation work is delivered on agentic commerce infrastructure from technology partners, led by ConfigIQ — a separate company founded by Perry Preston and a Retail Reinvented client. RR acts as agency of record; partner technology is deployed where the client’s stack calls for it. ConfigIQ is not Retail Reinvented proprietary technology.

The platform layer

What the platform layer does.

These are ConfigIQ capabilities, deployed by Retail Reinvented deployment teams.

Neurosymbolic product data model

Options, constraints, compatibility, and pricing expressed as structure agents can reason over — not prose they have to guess at.

PIM

One governed source of product truth feeding every channel, storefront, and agent.

Business rules

Pricing, eligibility, and merchandising logic declared once and enforced everywhere.

Order management

Orders, configuration state, and fulfillment orchestrated against the same data model.

Content

Product and marketing content generated and governed from structured data.

Distribution

Catalogs syndicated to marketplaces, search, and agent surfaces without re-keying.

Chatbot

Conversational selling grounded in the product model, so answers are correct by construction.

How RR deploys it

One deployment team owns the outcome.

A deployment team is small, talent-dense, and augmented by agents: an operator who owns the number, an engineer who owns the stack, and the agents that do the leverage work. The team stays until the metric moves — data model first, then channels, then the operating cadence.

Best-fit honesty

When we recommend something else.

Partner technology is deployed where the client’s stack calls for it — and only there. If a catalog is simple enough that a stock storefront wins, or an existing PIM is doing its job, we say so and build on what you have. The recommendation is contractually separate from the technology relationship.
